Discussing the statement and decision of our EM.Dr.Himanta B.Sharma

In recent electronic media and social networking site it is seen that our Education minister has changed his incarnation.He is taking harsh steps now in education system.

Yes i agree and respect his decision.These changes were required .Actually it is the education that backs the development of any country.

Teachers are the builder of nation,and in recent time it is seen that some of the teachers are neglecting their duty .Mind my word I repeat " some."

And yes these "Some " exist in our teachers family.Actually there are some black sheep hidden in our family wether be it TET ,regular or HS teachers family .In recent time due to that some black sheep we have loose our dignity and self respect from the society.

Lets discuss Dr.Himanta biswa sharma's statement regarding high school results .

This year the overall pass percentage of Metric examination was megre 47.94 %.

Not only government school but private school candidate also appeared and both private and govt. School performed badly this time.

There must be some other factors  also that affected the result this time.Its unfair to blame the teachers alone.

The factors that include may be change in curriculum ,nervousness in some students minds due to cctv camera installation as its for the first time that these type of system was implemented in Assam.

Now from this statement you may arise one question that if these were the factor then how some students secured that much highest marks.

All students doesnt bear higher IQ level.Some have high IQ and some have lower IQ.

And lastly we cannot deny the fact that even teachers are also responsible a little bit for that but not single as a whole department is also responsible this time.

Subject question Paper exchange,examination postponed ,leakage in question paper ,no light in examination hall candidates themselve brought candle and wrote examination this time.

So whole system is responsible for the decline in pass percentage this time.



And moreover a teacher is entitled to do several types of duty apart from teaching he is indulge in election duty,he is given the charge of BLO,NRC duty and lots more.One teacher and several duties.

Now lets talk about our TET family and statement of education minister yesterday in one day orientation programme for teachers in Guwahati.

What he said were all correct.?

There is a massive reformation required in education department,Specially in LP level.Because LP level is the starting basic foundation of journey in education.

But yes we cannot deny the fact that some of our TET family members are neglecting their duties.We must change that habit be right in your place nobody can shake you but if you are wrong you can be blown away by simple wind.

Letz do our duty perfectly ,if we do it perfectly no one can terminate us from our working place.
And next after that we can think about our salary ,pay scale.
Salary is our right and we need it.
Yesterday Education minister even said that TET teachers always think about salary payscale and transfer.
Yes we agree we should not think about transfer as its our duty to teach wherever we are in all assam .itz one type of crime to seek transfer from working place to other place.
But regarding salary we were thinking and forever we will think and enquire about that ,thats our ultimate right.
We will do our duty with full effort and likewise there should be no complain in our salary too.

If a minister or MLA serving for megre 5 years are entitled for 60 years pension then why cant we?
If minister or MLA can strike for payhike then why cant we?
Why should they require salary as they are elected to serve people.They could also voluntarily do the service to mankind.But no they cant because there is a basic need in life which can be fulfilled through money only .
Same applies with the teacher also.

In some talk shows it is seen that our honourable Education minister even said that TET teachers keep rented additional teacher to teach in place of them in school .If it is seen like that then it is requested to him that directly terminate those teacher on the spot .Again he oftenly said that some teacher dont go to school, without any proper  reason if he  found such type of teacher in place of announcing in television directly take the action .Yesterday education minister said that 116 TET candidates were terminated as they were found doing mischievous activity in deled examination.But according to my point of view they were all not TET teachers ,some of them were provincialised teachers also apart from TET.Exact info about that will be revealed soon.
Teachers neglecting duty should be terminated on the spot and moreover we
wont regret for them as such type of teachers are like cancer to our TET family.

So my dear colleagues time has come to show up our ability.Massive reformation is required in education sector we from our side we will perform our duty at its best and rest lots of responsiblity is left on the government side too like maintaing teachers pupil ratio,timely providing Free text book ,adequately filling single teacher school, avoiding appointment of teachers in double cadet under fresh advertisement as there is provision for us to get regularise in the working school,and with that pay protection after contractual to regular appointment .

Massive changes will be done after gunotsav as assam govt .is too serious about it and even we should also take it seriously.

If Govt.betray us from any facility we can demand for that boldly if and only if we all are sincere in our duty.So be sincere in the  plot and execute it perfectly nothing will happen to us and our job I can give 100% assurance for that.
